{Soon after|Not long|One day, ahungry wolf came along.{ Hewas feeling very hungry! He approached the smallest pig's house and shouted, "Little pig, let me in!|Piggy, piggy, let me in!" The youngest pig cried, "No, no, not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!" But the wolf was too mighty. He knocked over the house of hay and the smallest pig ran to his closest house.
- The wolf followed him and shouted again, "Little pigs, let me in!" The two animals replied, "No, no, not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!" But the wolf was too strong. He destroyed the house of sticks and both pigs ran to the third pig's house.
- The big bad wolf followed them and said, "Little pigs, let me in!" But the largest pig cried, "{Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!" The wolf pushed to blow down the house of brick but he couldn't. He was angry. Finally, he scampered up the pipe but he fell into a pot of hot soup and cooked himself to death.
The three little pigs were safe at last. They lived happily ever after in the sturdy wood house, {learning that it is important to be careful and think ahead for the future..

The second pig was a bit more dedicated and built his house out of branches. However, the third pig was very wise and decided to build his house out of strong, sturdy stone.
One day, a big, bad wolf came looking for a meal. He came to the first pig's house and huffed and puffed until the straw house collapsed. The frightened pig ran to his brother's house made of sticks.
The wolf followed him and, with a few more exhalations, blew the twigs house down as well. Both pigs fled to their brother's house made of brick. The wolf, determined to get his way, attacked the brick house, but he wasn't able to to blow it down.
Frustrated, the wolf tried to climb down the chimney, but the clever third pig had a pot of steaming water waiting for him. The wolf fell into the pot and screamed in pain.
The three little pigs were safe at last! They learned that it is important to be careful and work hard. From then on, they continued to live together in their sturdy brick house.
